In Electronic Infomation Category: R | on November 1, 2010
Linear Technology Corporation (Linear Technology) has introduced a spread spectrum frequency modulation capabilities with an integrated synchronous step-down DC / DC Controller - LTC3808. The device is targeted at very low EMI and MB3759 datasheet and low noise need to power the system. LTC3808 460kHz to 635kHz range by randomly changing the switching frequency to minimize EMI shielding and MB3759 price and filters on the demand; or the LTC3808 can also work at a constant switching frequency, thus DC / DC Controller reducing the peak radiated and MB3759 suppliers and conducted noise above 20dB.
The device provides two options: user-selectable 300kHz, 500kHz or 750kHz operating frequency or 250kHz to 750kHz phase-locked loop (PLL) work. LTC3808 suitable for navigation systems, wireless LAN, data acquisition boards and industrial / military radio applications.
LTC3808 9.8V to 2.75V to the input voltage into a high from as low as 0.6V to VIN of the output voltage. LTC3808 to achieve high efficiency DC / DC converter synchronization works external complementary power driver MOSFET. The controller can provide up to 5A to the load current, while 90% efficiency. Although the LTC3808 uses a current mode architecture, it is by detecting the voltage across the external MOSFET eliminates the additional need for a sense resistor, thereby enhancing the efficiency and lower system cost.
LTC3808 Another feature is its slope or more of the control voltage output voltage tracking power sequencing. The device uses low input voltage operation, low voltage drop and low supply current for battery-powered wireless devices. LTC3808 provides flat (0.75mm) 4 × 3mm DFN and 16-pin SSOP packages. The device operating temperature range is -40 ℃ to 85 ℃. 1,000-piece quantities starts at $ 2.60 per piece (for reference). P>
