Production of solar cells in China is the worlds great powers, in 2008 the annual output of 2,000 megawatts. For a long time, Chinas solar cell materials mainly depend on foreign supply, in 2008 China PV industry needs about 20,000 tons of silicon materials, domestic production is only about 4,000 tons. By the international financial crisis, is expected to significantly increase this year silicon prices fall dramatically, domestic market will gradually open up.
