Oerlikon Solar to obtain certification of non-ceramic laminated Master

In Electronic Infomation Category: R | on April   21, 2011

Recently, Oerlikon Solar announced that non-ceramic laminate (Micromorph) thin film silicon solar PV module passed all tests required to obtain the IEC TüV Rheinland certification. TüVmaster certificate to Oerlikon Solars customers to accelerate their own IEC certification process so that high-performance components on the market validation time from 6 months reduced to less than 6 weeks. The effective global certification is Oerlikon Solar has provided its customers with solutions that part of the mix, enabling businesses to quickly put into large-scale thin film solar PV module production.

"With IEC-certified components, Oerlikon Solar customers can significantly reduce time to market their products and AD7528KN datasheet and ensure performance of the leading components, providing customers with the highest levels of reliability and AD7528KN price and cost-effective process. "Oerlikon Solar CEO Jeannine Sargent, said.

Oerlikon successfully passed the IEC 61646 (component performance test) and AD7528KN suppliers and IEC 61730 (Safety test components). Components globally recognized certification TüV Rheinland, the component for several months of rigorous testing, and ultimately issued the IEC certification. For the life of aging test climate (climate, cold, humidity), UV exposure testing and mechanical shock test (hail, wind suction, wind, snow). All tests were successful.

"We believe that Oerlikon Solar in the thin film silicon solar PV market, is the key equipment and component technology providers. They have proven their ability to make a world-class technologies and processes to adapt to large-scale production , and passed all our tests. "TüV Rheinland Renewable Energy Division Head, Mr. Willi Vaassen said.

Leading efficiency and power output Oerlikon connection

Micromorph laminated solar cell technology to enable a fifty percent increase efficiency and improve the overall component power, solar PV manufacturers with a key competitive advantage. On amorphous silicon technology Micromorph (a-Si) layer of microcrystalline absorber adding a second, significantly improved the efficiency of solar cells. This layer convert the red and near infrared spectral energy efficiency to 50%. Micromorph ? process also increases the power of the components, so that component manufacturers can cost-competitive production of thin film silicon solar modules.

Difficult to go beyond the time to market

2008 year, Oerlikon Solar Inventux in Berlin, Germany at the start of their customers a Micromorph the worlds first production line, and allows them to quickly put into production. "Oerlikon Solar Panel Professional quickly adapt to our factory and mass production of components to further enhance performance, left us very impressed." Inventux Mr. President Volko Loewenstein said.

Oerlikon Solar is helping the other four Micromorph Factory (Auria Solar, Chint, Heliosphera, Pramac), and two amorphous silicon technology, using its factory production. Project 2009 global production capacity will add up to more than 240MWp, which will Oerlikon total shipments in the last two years, capacity will reach 600MWp.

Record performance and IEC certification

Just recently, Inventux announced that in real-time large-scale production, efficiency and create a new record. All the production of both panels use a laminated Micromorph Oerlikon Solars proprietary connection technology. 1.4 square meters in the mass production of components with more than 9% in the stability of efficiency and achieve 120 watts of output power. April 27, 2009, Inventux successfully passed the IEC61646 certification issued by TüV Rheinland all the necessary tests. The results for the European laminate thin-film silicon component manufacturers is the first time.

Expanding customer and partner relationships

More and more customers around the world to start using Oerlikon Solar is a leading thin film solar photovoltaic technology. Recent clients include mainland China Tianwei (Tianwei) and Chint Solar (CHINT), Taiwan, Sun Well Solar and Auria Solar Co. Ltd., Germany Inventux, ersol Thin Film GmbH, and SCHOTT Solar AG, Italys Pramac SpA , Gadir Solar in Spain and Greece Heliosphera.

Oerlikon Solar with leading industry partners to maintain a good partnership, such as Tokyo Electron (sales and customer service), Flextronics (manufacturing) to ensure comprehensive customer service and support, quickly adapt to a different area.
